Banana Pudding Recipe
Our guests always enjoy my banana pudding. Even at 40 below, the creamy yumminess hits the spot and makes you forget how cold it is outside.
4 cups cold milk
2 (3.4 ounces) packages of instant vanilla pudding mix
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 (8-ounce) container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16-ounce) package vanilla wafers
8 large bananas
In a large bowl or stand mixer fitted with paddle attachment mix vanilla pudding and cold milk for four to five minutes until pudding starts to thicken. Add thawed Cool Whip and vanilla to the pudding. Layer wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture at least two layers each in a 9×13 pan or glass serving bowl. Garnish with leftover crushed wafers for presentation.For best results, chill at least an hour before serving. Enjoy!
